I bought my older stand separator used too. There were so many parts to it that had to be disassembled, washed and reassembled each time it was used! That may be why a lot of people buy them new and then sell them after just a few uses. Maybe the newer ones are not so user unfriendly. It worked great, but took an hour to assemble and disassemble each time I used it.
