Ok, so, kinda new to milking. I really want the RAW milk. The husband, not so much. He's scared of it. Much be pasteurized. Well, I'm no good at that, I end up scalding it, and it tastes off, (she's a Togg so it's more "goaty' tasting anyway) blah blah blah....
I'm trying to find out where I can get milk tested in our area without "stirring the pot" so to speak.
In the meantime, the husband wants to know:
What should we be feeding
What vax should they have
Is there anything special we should be doing
They are wormed. They didn't get vaxed before kidding, as I was dealing with a medical emergency, so they are due to be vaxed on their yearly schedule as per their vet (not sure if I agree with this, and I wanna take over the vaxing anyway cause I end up doing all the work pretty much that I pay her for either way) Plus they get Hoegger herbal wormer on a monthly basis. I am penning at night, and kids are 10 weeks old.
Please help me convince him that this is OK, and he won't sprout a 3rd arm, or turn blue. I've already had him read through the other thread.
Thanks in advance
