I don't think I can ever do rabbits.... seriously I don't think I could "harvest" them.

Just think of the cost of feed after they reach the ideal butcher weight and you will have NO ISSUES in harvesting for meat.I don't think I can ever do rabbits.... seriously I don't think I could "harvest" them.

It's probably not as bad as you think. Right now I'm feeding 21 rabbits and am going through maybe 3 bags of feed a month, plus hay. I sell a few, raise a few, and all in all I may not be making money, but I'm not spending an arm and a leg at the grocery store and I know exactly what goes into my rabbits Well worth it, in my opinion!So true! and actually that is a concern for me... the feed.

My biggest advice if you do go for it is to start small! A pair or trio is perfect to start up with and you can expand as you get comfortable and know what you can manage
