You could just borrow a bottle baby from someone and casually bring it home to feed for a couple days. Just as a baby sitter... He would fall in love with it and then it would be too late. He'd be addicted. They are better than puppies, you know. (No offense to the puppy people.)

Oh what a great idea! My next task is to find someone locally who would be willing to mentor me or allow me to goatsit! I'm afraid I would be tempted to bring the kid into the house......boy oh boy....

just where do you think bottle babie live? never in a barn in the winter. in totes or with diapers on running the house!!!!

Mine had a playpen with lots of puppy pads. And then i spent a lot of time puppy pad training them.

Oh I'm getting so excited! I've been online alllllll day researching local goat farms. A lot of them seem to be far away but I wont let that stop me
