Don't know how well you can see in the pics, but the outside toes are normal, the inside toes curl under. So anyone know why they might be doing this? Or if there is anyway to fix it?

(these are the front feet, I think the back feet are normal)

Her inside toes are curled completely under, where she is walking on the side of her toes, but only the insides, the outside toes are fine.

Do you have a pic of her standing in general?

I agree with wyne, she has some major hoof deformities that is causing her a bit of pain, as you can see the inflammation between her toes. The cause of that, I am not sure of off hand, but what you could do is give the vet a jingle about it and see what he/she thinks. It almost looks like foot rot, it could also be from her needing a pedicure. I know there's a site called CowDoc.net that you can see and figure out what's the matter with her yourself, might help a little. But I think the vet would be a really good place to start.

I don't know how old she is, I'm guessing around 2 1/2, and I don't know for sure how long she's been like this (the first time I ever saw her was when I took these pics), I did ask my dad, but I'm not sure he really knows. He bought her from a friend (and several others) and didn't pick them up for several months (not sure why), and I think she's had trouble w/ her feet since he's had her which I'd guess to be about 6 months.

I am planning to talk to my vet, that is why I took the pics (the vet I use is an hour away, so it's not a quick run by). I don't mind attempting to try and trim the cows feet if she will let me, she likes my dad, but doesn't know me. I'm just not sure how to trim them w/ the way they are, I don't want to make things worse.

Here is the closest I could find of a pic of her standing, one from the front, and a few from the side,

In this one she has them out in front of her (possibly because they're sore),

And I know the calf is in the way in this one, but she has them more under her,

I would say they look sore and that they should be trimmed but, as to why she's wearing them that way is hard to say. Her whole body is thrown off by the way she's standing but, whether her legs were not in good form before is hard to say now.

Define the words: if she will let me.
IN commercial herds there is a cow table the cows are strapped to and safely put horizontal to work on their feet.
In our 4H cows, we taught them from young to allow their feet to be lifted or worked on them when they were lying down. But.. they were very tame cows.
Dear old dad 50 years ago worked on hoof trimming with the cows in tie stantions using a manual nippers and a lot of sweat.

I suspect your cow has never really been tied and so first you must restrain her. You need a facility for that and you might want to call in a professional hoof trimmer. They would still want the cow confined in some way ( small pen) before they get there.

This is not my cow, she is very friendly w/ my dad, and will allow him to handle her. No idea if she's ever been tied. If she'd been laying down she "might" have let me handle her feet, but this is the only time I've ever been close to her and I don't know her at all, she didn't want me to touch her. The only way to restrain her is to tie her or put her in the head gate. She is a tame cow, but she doesn't know me. I'm sure she'd let him handle her feet, probably w/out restraining her (she let my mom milk her) I've trimmed horse, goat, and pig feet, but never cow and w/ the way her toes are I have no idea where to even start. I'm thinking I will tell him he just needs to talk to a vet.

I never even thought to look at the calf's feet, I will have him check them out, or I'll go back by and see them. She seemed fine when I was there.
