How do you flip a 200# goat?
Pull his legs out from under him, the far ones from you.
It works if you want to get that close. Or can do that. Unfortunately, both my arms are screwed up and I can't pick up squat. But yes, I agree with you. You must get very rough.

My buck is fairly well behaved, but our Ram has received several "lessons."
Using the crook to lift his chin, Flipping, and visor wearing. (Rams/bucks can't butt what they cannot see.)
I would post a photo of Bam-Bam receiving his visor-lessons, but I don't have enough posts to put up photos yet.

Wow, my ND buck has never tried any thing but to still get in my lap!! He is very persistent with his ladies, and has sired several kids but is still just a big baby wanting his head scratched when I'm out with them. I would not like to deal with a full size buck in rut, for sure.

I have just pushed my knee into the buck's chest like I would a puppy jumping on me. It works well, except you will get stinky if the buck is in rut!

I would use a spray bottle with water in it. Most goats hate to get wet. Spray him directly in the face when he tries to get busy with you. After a few times of spraying him in the face he should relate trying to put the moves on you with the awful act of getting sprayed in the face with water and go find him another object of desire. LOL!!! Shout "No" when you spray him so he can also associate the spray in the face and the word no as both meaning trouble for him.
