I tried to clip and couldn't because my clippers were too dull, and boy was I sorry. What a mess. Yesterday, I went at both of my girls with scissors and trimmed all of the hair off of their tails and legs that was getting messy and they look sooooo much better now. I know it is not necessarily "natural", but it has to be healthier for them to keep all of the gunk off of them. Less place for bacteria to grow.

Ridin' The Range
I shave the top portion of their hips (so I can see and feel ligaments), the tail (leave it with a little "bell"), and all the way down to their hocks. I did it a few weeks ago, and they all did just fine, even with the coldest temps of winter. They all just shoved their butts into the hay and cozied up.
