Sometimes Sheba and Sentry lay on the pond dam. It’s too far for my phone to get a picture, but this pile of logs is right up in the front corner by the driveway. That girl is a hot mess!

Nope, not happening.

It’s getting dark and she is nestled down in the feed bunk. Sentry is in the same place at the gate. I showed him the deep bedded Quonset hut, petted him and he went back to his spot. It’s going to rain some more. I’m thinking Sheba won’t like laying in a puddle and she’ll go to shelter. Thundering now.

It’s pouring down rain. I bet THAT moved Sheba!

I got a puppy a couple weeks ago. Sheba likes to growl at him, acting like she’s so bad, but she really does like to play with him. In the evening, after the dogs eat, we go walking. They all enjoy it, but this evening Sheba said, Nah, y’all go ahead!

I watched Sheba and Buford this morning, out the window, running just for the pure joy of it, all over the field. Zoomies! Sentry went on fence patrol and let them have at it. Then it started raining and Sentry led the charge for the hoop hut. Gotta beat the sheep to it, then they get the Quonset huts!

I had to put Ringo down, Sheba’s friend. Ringo raised her from a puppy. Ringo was the only ram she knew. I made preparations for moving Cooper to Ringo’s old pen. Sheba gets stuck babysitting the puppy, Buford, I can’t let him overnight in the ewe pen, he will play with the lambs.

Cooper wasn’t raised with dogs and will butt them. He’s been in the front yard with Carson, but Carson had the front porch to escape to. So I decided to build Sheba and Buford a Dog Tower. Sheba immediately loved it, she likes high places. Buford finally figured out how to get up on it, still doesn’t know he can jump, so he sorta belly flops on it. Sentry was first one on the tower, beating Sheba to it.

I moved Cooper and his girls to Ringo’s pen. Sure enough, he butted both dogs. Their feelings were hurt and they both were confused, especially Sheba. They got on the Dog Tower for safety.

So far, they seem to be getting along. Cooper has to figure out that the dogs are his friends and they figured out real quick how to avoid him.
