Is it any good? I have a sheep that lost her lamb and her utter is so full... I know milking will encourage her to produce...but I wonder if it would be worth it to do so, and let some pressure off her udder.

I really don't know...sorry about the lost lamb! I am always tempted to milk out some at weaning time, but know that just makes things worse...always fear mastitis. Hope someone with answers comes on to give you some advice!!!

I would go ahead and milk a bit. Try to help her taper off.
Milk her but not till she is empty. Bit by bit she will quite producing as much till she quits.

I have not tasted it yet. But I imagine it is good. I know some dandy cheeses are made from it.

True Greek yogurt...as in actually made in Greece...is made from sheep milk only. And cheese...yum...sheep and goat cheese are the best in my opinion!

If that doesn't appeal to you and you decide to milk some off her...freezing it for future lambs that need it is also an option.
