This is going to be my first time showing a rabbit in the county fair. I'm not in 4-H or FFA so I won't be physically showing them. I have an otter Netherland Dwarf doe almost 2 years old thats going to be entered in cage judging. I was wondering if anyone could please tell me what to look for in Netherland Dwarfs and what rabbits get inspected for before they are entered?

It's going to depend on the fair. Do they go by ARBA rules or no?

Sorry I don't know what that stands for. I'm guessing American Rabbit Breeders Association? I'm not 100% if they go by that. I live in California, if that helps. Could you please let me know what the rules would be anyways if they did go by ARBA?

Your rabbit will be judged according to the current standard of the ARBA(american rabbit breeeders association). In this standard are listed the requirements for your breed along with the disqualifications. Go to the ARBA website and they will connect you to the ND national club. You should be able to find a copy of the standard or request a copy from someone. Could check your library for the ARBA Standard of Perfection book also. It contains all the standards currently in use.

Thank you very much! I'll see if I can get in contact with them.
