I'm not familar with 4 way but, I'm assuming you are using the BOSS as a protein.

I'm trying to remember my 4H stuff re: lactation curves. I believe, please don't hold me to this, that the lactation peak is at 6-8 weeks after calving holds for a few weeks, and then gradually declines.
Oh what did we do before Google...

I was talking to DH last night about feeds and brought up the BOSS for protein. He said that cows can only digest about 1/2 of the BOSS so it's not a good source of protein for them. You may want to try soybeans, soybean meal, or one of the others listed on the chart. This would help bring her production up.
