Last fall I purchased my first babydoll sheep. She was born in 2005 and bred when I bought her. I have been waiting very excitedly for the lamb. She is due in 3 weeks and I am just waiting in anticipation. She didn't eat last night so I thought she was having her baby early. Took her to the vet today and she had a blockage in her esophagus and then asperated some in her lungs. She isn't doing so well. I am soooo upset. We were so close to having a baby. She is on antibiotics, giving her pepto bismo and electrolites. She is still not eating or drinking.

I am looking for 2 baby ewe lambs. I live around Charlotte, NC.

Thank you. Lulabell is back on track. Thank God. Even though the vet didn't say to do it I gave her electrolytes and lots of peptobismo. that seemed to do the trick and now today she is eating. She didn't eat for 1 1/2 days so I am hoping that the baby is o.k.

We have babydolls, but I live in MN. I've never heard of that happening, but I learn something new everyday on this forum.
