I have 2 sister goats, they have always been together, and are about a year old now. They are twins but one has always been a little bigger but now they are not getting along. They don't even mind being split apart which before they screamed and freaked out if split apart for even a minute. The bigger doe is being a jerk. They have lots of food but she won't let her sister eat any of the hay. She runs to where she is and head butts her until she moves. No matter where she tries to eat her sister shoves and hits her until she stops eating. I have hay in like 5 spots but she runs across the pasture or the barn to steal her sisters hay. She is a pig and eats really fast huge mouthfuls while her sister is a slow picky eater so even with all the running the bigger doe gets more food. I have to sit out there and make sure the little goat gets any food and I just don't have the time to do this. The smaller doe has lost weight since this started, what do I do? I only have 2 goats and short of tethering the bully doe I can't separate them. The jerk doe is only a jerk with her sister she is so sweet with people but I can't let this keep happening or I'm going to have a sick goat or a dead one. Is there no option but to sell one? Will the timid doe always get bullied or will the bully always bully? Ahhh problems!
