I have one little girl that is a year old that is very skinny. I have been watching her close for the past few weeks. She has access to the same food as everyone else. I do not see her being bullied away from feed either.
Id like to worm her but there is a chance she is pregnant.... What should I do for her ?

nevermind :)

I found this thread...

Maybe you should get her tested...safegaurd is safe during pregnancy but as you know dos'nt cover all. But I would check for worm loard 1st and see what you gotta kill. Just a thought???

I see you found a thread too...cool! :thumbsup

thank you. I keep ivermectin on hand for the peafowl and also use safeguard goat wormer for peafowl.... so I gave her a dose of each yesterday. I actually noticed before that her coat was not looking great too. According to that thread ivermectin was the answer.

I checked her eyelids and it was very pale... checked the other girls and they were bright pink.... wonder why one girl has it and no one else does.

Thanks for the response. And Im so glad I thought to search old threads.... this forum is a wonderful resource!!!

Hmm good point. Actually she had a cold during the fall. It finally cleared up, but now this....
Hope this is the end of her problems.
