So after some research and realising sometimes my plans are way bigger than me, I've decided to try and find a cattle breed that isn't almost extinct in Australia.
The goal of my farm is that the animals there will be majority "blue" and white.
I know there are a few breeds of cattle that come in these colours, but are there any smaller breeds?
The obvious would be Belgian Blue, but from what I've seen, they're a rather large cow, and I'm not sure I'd feel safe.
I was looking into blue roan Dairy Shorthorns, but as far as I can find, they aren't big in Australia as much more than red roan beef cattle.
Are there any cattle breeds I might be missing?
