Apparently it was one of the babies that got Lil pregnant. Without a step ladder I have no idea how they reached!

Farm daddy went to feed this morning and found two little girls, still wet. I thought she had another month! She had no signs at all of being in labor.

Both are active and have nursed. Lil is chowing down on hay. Brought them in for a quick dry off and warm up, then putting them outside in the nursery pen with momma. So glad she didn't have complications! Lil still has a placenta hanging off her. Normal? It's been three years since we had any born here (the virgin births as I called them) and I can't remember how long it was before she had the placenta totally out.

Great, thank you. Mom is in the guest bathroom with them now eating some feed and they are eating. Going to finish setting up the nursery. Thought we had a month so we are way behind on setting up now.

Does she look like there's another in there? She was chubby before she got pregnant but still seems big. Don't they usually look thin after?

She's laying down with them, seems pretty relaxed. She's just still so fat! Lol

She just jumped up and pushed and more or different placenta started coming out. She's chewing crazy and making huffy talking noises.

I have a ewe with a good rib spread. It takes a practiced eye to know when she's done. LOL

Those are adorable babies. Congrats!
