Laurajean, I am also partial to pygmies & nigerian dwarf goats--I have 7. I'm on almost 2 acres, fenced with what we call 'hog wire' (2" x 4" x 4'). I have various sized carriers for them to sleep in, as well as a 10' x 6' x 6' covered kennel...they sleep on TOP of the carriers, their picnic table or the Little Tykes 'jungle gym' thing they have.
I do not use electric fencing mostly because it gets ground out too easily here. While they wander the whole yard eating brush & grass, they hang out at night behind the house where their 'quarters' are.
They are great animals for pets!
