A guy in Traverse City has a gorgeous Arab/Mustang cross that looks like a refined Andalusian, big-boned but elegant with a long, flowing wavy black mane and tail. The horse also runs barefoot.
You must be talking about Cathy & Red Cloud II ..aka "Snoopy". They have done quite well from their stats. We also have the Dale family in the south central division also riding registered Spanish Mustangs.michickenwrangler said:A woman here in Michigan has one that she does endurance with. She regularly places though seldom wins (it's pretty hard to beat the top riders in this state). She tried a few competitive trail rides with him last year and beat me (and I'm one of the best in that division). She took him into a 3-day 75 mile ride and he completed all three days. Did I mention that he's barefoot too?
Yup, that's Cathy. Linda H.'s and Becke G's horses are almost twice as tall as "Snoopy" but that little barefoot guy with clubby feet does just fine. Heck, they beat my horse who usually has a resting pulse of 8/1 in comp!Arock said:You must be talking about Cathy & Red Cloud II ..aka "Snoopy". They have done quite well from their stats.
