still bleeding a little

Our doe gave birth over a week ago (10 days) and is still bleeding slightly. ?? I notice it mainly when she is active she will drip a little. Not much, but maybe 1/2 teaspoon or so. Otherwise she is acting better than ever. We got her about 10 days before she delivered, so we are seeing a whole new side of her! Running, jumping, climbing.

Also, I would like to see some more weight on her. She is getting as much grain as she will eat (about 1 1/2 cups am and pm, but she always leaves a little). Anyone use beet pulp to add weight? I used that with my horse and really liked what it did for him.

They can have discharge for a good 2 weeks. Yes, beet pulp is great to use.

And, I might pick up some beet pulp to see if that will put some weight on her.

I've got beet pulp and calf manna added to my girls grain to help put weight on them.
