I see two and know there is limited stock in USA. Is that a girl and boy? Or 2 ewes you plan to AI?

They are certainly adorable!!! 😊👍. I love their "kneepads"🤣

Oh, My. Another member "across the pond". We love the contacts and reports. Things are so deferent in the different countries. It's interesting to read about.

Lucky you are where that breed is available. Here, few and very expensive.

Hi , where are you? It is interesting. Actually not many in France they are new here and they are worth a lot too. I had a large flock of welsh sheep some years ago , now Im employed to train dressage horses from birth to 3 years and my boss has kindly allowed me to raise my own flock of sheep on their land so I’m very lucky

Love the sheep. They are cute with the contrasting colors. If you go to your name upper right and click and go down to account details, you can go down in that drop down to location and just put in France... it will show up on your avatar and then we have an idea of where you are. Many of us (especially me and my forgetful memory) don't always remember where people are and it is fun to hear about other places - countries....
I am in Va in USA. We have some White Texas Dall sheep which look alot like bighorns (wild sheep) . We liked the horns and used to have horned Dorsets, but there is no market for the wool and it is hard to find anyone to shear also. Since we are not into spinning or anything, my DS went with the Dall's as he liked the horns. They are a hair sheep, but unlike most here that have Katahdins or other hair breeds, ours are not friendly and the rams are raised up for their impressive horns to go on hunting preserves for people to pay to hunt the rams. The ones that do not make the cut for horns growth and such sell at the local markets just like any other sheep and they make a small carcass for eating. My DS doesn't have alot of them as the markets have not been as good the last few years but he likes them so keeps about 6-10 ewes and lambs them out about this time of year.
We mostly have beef cattle and I've worked with dairy farmers for many years. I have chickens, both for eggs, , show and meat and have raised hogs and turkeys and you name it... except for goats.
