Hi, my doe had 3 kids 3 days ago; one of them, the third one, was fine for the first 24 hours or so then stopped eating, did not get any weight and died; now I have one, the first one, who was fine, has gained some weight, but she has had an eye that looks like if she is blind from the beginning; now that eye has swollen and it has a red circle around the outer edge. I am including pictures of the good eye and of the bad eye. Please help me, I don't want to lose another kid.

Thanks

Miguel

I'd call your vet on this one. It looks like the eyeball itself is quite swollen. You could try some terramycin ointment but I'd definitely call the vet, especially if it's been an issue since birth. Chlamydia can cause eye problems at birth and that would be something that you'd need to treat aggressively for.
