most farmers around here have switched to DRY SHOD
I've been wearing Dry Shod for a few years. They seem to wear well BUT since like most if not all boots they come only in whole sizes they are a LITTLE too large and rub on my achilles tendon. Wears the socks out real fast. Anyone have a solution for that problem?

Our ewe Babs had twins this afternoon (ram/ewe). Babs was a bottle lamb that to this day will hang out with people over sheep if given a choice. She was born when @Baymule and BJ were here picking up a ram.

I have Hisea boots - love them - comfy like slippers and tough to handle crazing. They come with a lifetime warranty. I use mine every day, even in the summer. I've had two pair - after about a year they get some wear, enough to get a new pair free. Of course they're men's boots -- some how those cutesy ladies boots just don't cut it. :duc but then I probably wouldn't wear cutesy boots anyway.

We drove into Lewisburg about noon since we were almost out of drinking water. Forttunately, they had pplenty so we got a couple of cases of boftles and a half dozen gallon containers. We have well water but it is high sulphur and I can't drink it. We put a couple of tbs of bleach in each bucket and that at least neutralizes the odor.

We need to take Mel to the vet tomorrow if we can get an appointment as he has battle wounds on his neck. I may have to put Mel in with the sheep away from Maisy. I think she is in bitch mode since she isn't in with her sheep and is taking it out on Mel. She is half his size but she can be vicious.
