Your post OP visit will go great. I hear ya on the pain! My new knee doesn’t have the bend radius of the one I was born with, so I can’t squat down. BUT I couldn’t squat before surgery because of the arthritis and unceasing pain. So that’s a major improvement and I’m not complaining.

Doctor visit went well and he said I was where I needed to be but since he ordered another six weeks of PT, I'm not sure that I am. :)

A First Watch restaurant opened up not far from the doctor's office so we stopped there and had lunch. This was our first time eating there but there will be more. They have one of the broadest menus that I have seen.

We got our property tax assessment today. Our property tax is the same amount now as it was when we first bought our place. The county next to us has had an increase just about every year so I don't know what the difference is. I'm pretty amazed every year when I think that we were paying ten times the taxes for a subdivision home than we are here.

We got our HVAC back online today and it was just a capacitor and covered by warranty.

I took 2 rounds of therapy. Be happy that the doctor ordered you 6 more weeks. That’s a good thing.

My taxes go down. It’s under homestead, agriculture and senior citizen. It’s a double wide manufactured home, so it depreciates. I can deal with that. Outside looks the same, I spruced up the inside. LOL

It looks like scammers are trying to access our bank accounts using a phony Verizon look-alike account. We got a text from our bank that we weren't even sure was real but they had caught the scammer trying to access one of our accounts. We got that shut down and cards canceled. It wasn't 10 minutes later that we got another text showing our other account was the next target. We responded to all of this by calling our bank and verified all of this was originating with the bank. I guess this is the result of that huge data breach from not long ago.

One of the advantages of small town living. We know the people that work in our bank and they know all of the locals.

We are credit union members, and they are very proactive with scamming etc. While on vacation in KY this July someone stole my credit card information and started buying stuff on Walmart.com 🙄 Since I get text notifications for any charges over $20 I quickly realized what was going on, called the credit union 24 hour hotline and cancelled the card. No expenses were incurred.
