We went into Pulaski to the steak house and had a nice lunch to celebrate our Anniversary. A little side story - When we were deciding the date for our wedding, Teresa told me December 7th. I told her that was the date that Pearl Harbor got attacked and she said that was the date she wanted. That works for me since I have been known to forget dates but since I was career Navy, Pearl Harbor Day is not a date that you don't remember.

My older brother was born on December 7. He’s been gone for years but I still go to his Facebook to wish him happy birthday tell him to say hello to BJ for me.
Mt Daddy was Navy before, during and couple of years after WW2. I don’t forget December 7 either.
Teresa is one smart lady, she made it easy for you!

Our young ram (Jack) got Teresa a couple of days ago. She wasn't paying attention when she was putting food out for the sheep and he snuck up on her and knocked her over. She is still doing the bulk of the work, for now but I'm now going out with her since Jack won't challenge me and if he does it will be painful for him and he knows it.

Bad Jack. He needs behavior counseling. 😃

Little Ringo is a RAMbunctious snot. Rocky is calming down and loves the side of his face stroked. LR tries to butt my hand but is learning face strokes feel pretty good. I do this from MY side of the fence. I have a hoe handle at the gate for when I go inside their pen. I keep to the fence and don’t walk out in the middle.

Use some of that purple wound spray and color Jack up real good and make him easier to spot!

Behavior counceling LOL love that one @Baymule

So far my ram is ok. Early in the year (about the time we were all talking about some livestock not being nice to work with - OK those that were then headed to the auction type - he started giving me the hard eyed look. That's when I started always carrying a rattle paddle in with me. It's either at the gate or the door to the stall. So far so good and no more hard eyed looks from him. He still likes his animal crackers and head scritches on his cheeks and ears.

We did get everything done with the sheep over the last couple of days and only had to pull fecals on three of the ewes as the rest all looked good. We moved the flock on to a paddock that still has plenty of grass available. We "guessed" the weather pretty good this year and haven't had to bring in any hay yet. That will change in a couple of weeks since we want to bring the ewes back into the handling paddock before they start lambing.

The weather forecast has had a massive change. We are supposed to be in the low 60's for the next 5 days but I will enjoy it.

I had a dental appointment today but I am still amazed at how booked they have been. The appointment today was made back in February and the appointment that I made for my next cleaning will be in August. :)
