We will get a storm this evening. Supposed to be rainy, drizzly over the next 5 days. Then several days of sunshine. Son came in last night saying first of January we will get snow. Boo. Snow makes things so much harder.
I feel a little bad for Oshi... he will be glad to have lots of girlfriends and all that... but he will not understand the changes... I get the why.... but.....
And he may just forget all about you once he has changed his address.... and I know this was the original plan....
Are you getting a new herd sire? Unrelated to the ewe lambs you have kept? Going to be hard to beat how good a combination your sheep and Oshi have clicked.... but his kept daughters have to have a new "boyfriend".....
We put Oshi in the holding stall so we could pull a fecal from him. He hasn't needed wormed since he has been here but we want to make sure before moving him out. We didn't get him on the scale this time but when we weighed him a couple of weeks ago, he was 287 lbs.
We use my old Tacoma to haul recycle stuff to the transfer station but the gas struts on the camper shell were wore out and made it a pain to unload since the gate would not stay up in place. I ordered some struts several weeks ago and put them in a place where I could easily find them. Wellll, it only took me an hour and a half today to find that place but we got the struts changed.
