Oshi had a zero egg count.

We use my old Tacoma to haul recycle stuff to the transfer station but the gas struts on the camper shell were wore out and made it a pain to unload since the gate would not stay up in place. I ordered some struts several weeks ago and put them in a place where I could easily find them. Wellll, it only took me an hour and a half today to find that place but we got the struts changed. :)
I always put things somewhere "safe" and then can't find them when I need them.:hide:hide:hide:barnie

What that really means is that you have an awesomely successful breeding program!

I have to thank our great mentors early on since they got us started good.

Happy New Year to everyone. We tried watching a bit of TV showing the 2024 happenings but their morals don't fit ours so that didn't last but a few minutes.

The weather that we have coming is why we don't normally let our sheep breed in their normal cycles, which is to lamb in January-March. We want lambs ready to sell in November so we are done by December. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will have lambs dropping in about 10 days but that will change during the next cycle.

We might be having a change in which ram we will be using next cycle. Brandon (where Oshi originally came from) offered to trade one of his nice rams for Oshi rather than a cash outlay. This one is a nice three year old red ram which will let us get back to producing some color. I have seen him before and he is halter trained and about as gentle as any ram that we have had.

Sounds like a nice ram. I might have to come see y’all in a couple of years. LOL. I’ll start saving up now!

Hmmmm…… Cooper is staying. So by that time I’ll ready to move Rocky and little Ringo on down the line.
