We have had a light rain about non-stop for the last few days totaling a little over 5".

I moved Maisy back in with the main flock and Mel now that all of the lambs are getting some size. She hasn't tried to adopt a lamb for a couple of years now but we won't take a chance to find out for sure.

Our herding dogs still act like pups but they are 8 and 9 years old. I have had good luck with long term pets. I had a Maltese that lived to be 17 years old and spent most of her life sitting next to me in a recliner. and a Macaw that lived with me for almost 18 years and he spent a good portion of that time living on my shoulder. :)

I've had 4 dogs, all mixed breeds, and only one at a time. The first two lived past 15yo, third was PTS at 9yo, and I just lost my current pup, she was 13-14yo. I guess I have been lucky.
