We weren't sure how much milk the latest twins were getting since they seemed to be stressed out and hungry. We have been supplementing Mom's milk with additional bottles and they seem to be thriving. This was a first timer ewe yearling so she gets a pass this time. This is one of those that doesn't matter since the ewe is watching over her lambs and the lambs come to the bottle so no effort on our part. We have found that lambs raised by their dams and fed by us have the perfect personalities.

The water to our house stopped running this morning and just came back on a few minutes ago. This is liable to be an expensive fix for whoever broke the line. We found out that a farm called them yesterday to arrange for the utilities to come out and do the "before you dig" thing with the utilities. This all happened at closing time yesterday and none of them work on Sunday so he was told to wait until Monday and they would come out. Evidently he elected not to wait and went through the main water line as soon as he started.

We were planning on using our Ram pickup yesterday but the battery was dead and all the checks said it wasn't going to get any better. We took the battery out this morning and went in and got a replacement battery. I guess I haven't had to buy a battery for some time but this one was almost $300 and it was all I could carry with my left arm. My right shoulder told me "you really do not want to do this" and I listened. :)
