Loving the herd life
Its about that time again!
First to go, we are watching Sasha. She is due either on the 14th of February or the 24th. That's because she came into heat, was bred, then came into heat once again ten days later and was bred again. I'm not sure which heat was a false heat so we are watching for babies around both days. I'm guessing she's going to kid sooner rather than later.
She is huge! Last year she gave us triplets and she was not nearly this big so I wonder how many she's got in there?? I'm praying that everything goes well (and that we'll get some does) because we've had some tragedies this year. For instance, my best doe aborted her kids so I'm not getting any babies out of that doe this year. Also, Sasha was the only doe that was bred by my best buck before we had to put him down this year. I only have one of his daughters in the herd, so I'd love to get some doelings out of Sasha.
