Therapy Goats

I have 2 goats, a 6 year old Nigerian Dwarf doe named Snickerdoodle, and a 2 or 3 year old pygmy goat wether named Jimmy. I want to train them to be therapy goats. My dad won't let me let them indoors except for our barn, and their skin is too thick for spray bottle training (I think). Does clicker training work? And how do I discipline them? And do you have any other ideas on how to train them? And what do I need to do to get a therapy animal license?

When I use an angry voice, they know they are in trouble.

They will do anything for a treat.

At a guess clicker training with goats would be easy.

@frustratedearthmother sold a special doe to go be a therapy goat, maybe she has some suggestions, or can get you connected with the lady who bought Dallas, the goat.

So do you have to put a diaper on a therapy goat when you take them inside buildings? It's not like you can house train them. LOL

You can house train them, but I am going to hold the sessions outdoors

I have lately let the therapy animals idea go, but I do still want to get back to it, in which case, I would come back to this thread. I might also want to do dog training for therapy, is there a website like BYC or BYH for dogs?
