Thiamine Hydrochloride

I have medication for my goats and instructions from the vet to read the manufacturers label and follow. Both labels are too small to read even with glasses. And as far as I can tell there is no dosage instructions on them either. I do have a message in for the vet. But, haven’t heard back yet. Medications are dectomax and thiamine hydrochloride. They are for roughly 20# goats. Does anyone else use these for their goats? I know they are subcutaneous injections. That’s all he told me. Does anyone know where I can find this if the vet doesn’t get back to me before they close for the weekend? I’ve looked at the drugs website. I found dectomax. I know the dosage. Is this a one time injection or not? I can’t find either bits of info for the thiamine.

What strength is the thiamine? (It should say something like 200mg/ml)

No, I thinks it’s to prevent or counteract the effects of the CoRid or the dectomax.
They have round, barbers pole, and Coccidia right now.

That’s the more concentrated thiamine, so around .5 cc for your 20 pound goats should be plenty. I’ve not heard of Dectomax depleting thiamine, but for CoRid definitely give thiamine during the course of that, and for a few days after.

You can’t really overdose on thiamine, so don’t be worried about that.
