This is Retirement??

Eight years ago, I left the city for a small ranch. I'm raising Boer/Kiko crosses for meat sales and chickens for eggs. After 47 years of working a mostly sedentary job, I've retired to one that makes me get out and sweat. I love it. However, the learning curve has been rather painful. I wish I'd found this site when I started.

Welcome to BYH. I retired two years ago and now I am building a goat dairy. So yes...THIS is RETIREMENT ??? I used to go to work to relax from my weekends "on the ranch"

Thank you all. The Unsssigned Lands were that part of Oklahoma that was opened in the land run of 1889. I actually bought my land from the family that homesteaded it.
