Tips for training NDG's to the milking stand

Hello,
Can any of you help me with tips for training my goats to the milking stand? I only have 2 does so its not a whole herd I need to train,but I only had Pygmys until we decided to get rid of them and focus on the NDG's.Our milking stand is pretty standard,the feed bucket holder,the headlock,and the standing platform.So far what I've guessed for training is...
get them used to getting fed on the stand
slowly get them used to getting their teats handled
try to keep them from kicking

Ok,that's good! Do you have any tips to keep them from kicking? Once she gets used to it I guess.

So I got my buckskin goat,Annie, onto the stand(with a little bribery) and then after her turn I tried to get my multicolor pinto goat,Lucy,onto the stand Annie hopped on instead! But atleast she is getting on the stand.

Pretty much, kicking stops once they get used to you feeling them all over. Time. Patience. Talk to them while up there. Maybe brush them. I like to handle babes from birth to 3-4 days. Pick up, rub all over, calm them. Hold if they fidget until they stop. That little imprint goes so much further than you can imagine at the time.

They aren't exactly babies,they are 3 year old does that are pregnant but they did pretty well!
