Took the plunge!

My other half kept saying he wanted to get goats... he's never raised or kept them before, but I did when I was younger... a friend mentioned a pair of bucklings she was needing to sell and she wanted Call ducks and more chickens... we started discussing things, 1 buckling ended up sold already, but we came to an agreement and she graciously offered a bottle baby doeling to go along with the wether (I requested he be wethered)... so we swapped a load of Calls and chickens for our 2 wonderful new additions...

Aliza, full Nubian doeling born in March, disbudded bottle baby...

Friday, Nubian/LaMancha cross born on Good Friday, the doe raised wether...

So far, they absolutely are! Aliza is a bit of a spoiled dainty diva that is sweet and affectionate... and Friday is a well mannered, polite gentleman, once he got over his pouting fits, lol...

As long as it isn't over our heads we'll be fine, lol... but that's why I asked for Friday to be banded... not sure if we're ready for the whole enchilada quite yet...
