Please make sure that the breeder gets her drinking from the bottle before you get her. The stress of leaving will be bad enough for her without adding in the nursing aspect.
Also they should send some milk with you so you can transition her to cow's milk (fresh or from the store) gradually. Add a little of the cows milk to the bottle and increase it each time.
I don't think the breeder is going to put her on a bottle. What should I do if she doesn't send any mother's milk? We have milk replacer from my last bottle baby and she did great but she was already on the bottle when I got her. Also should I buy a special bottle (long nipple) for her or can I i use a standard human bottle? What about using store bought fresh goats milk?
I would never use replacer unless I was desperate. Store bought goat milk would be good but due to the cost I would use the goat milk and gradually add cow's milk and then transition her to cow's milk. As far as nipples I would use a Pritchard nipple on a plastic 16 oz soda bottle. Can you ask the breeder to get her on a bottle? I would never send off a kid without bottle training it first, IMO that is just being irresponsible; not fair to the kid or to you.
