The only vaccine I use routinely is Essential 3+T, (to prevent c.p. types C and D and Tetanus).
BUT...If you're getting goats from auctions, buying several from different breeders, showing, and / or just basically exposed to lots of cooties from lots of sources, you might want to consider a vaccine that covers more bases. There are 5, 7, and 8 way vaccines that can prevent most contagious funks out there.
Our herd's pretty closed and we don't show, and since we've never had issues w/ pnuemonia, etc. I don't bother vaccinating for the others.
I give babies their first shot when I disbud them, a booster in 3 weeks, then an annual booster, usually before they kid so they pass the immunity to the kids.

They recommend CD&T 3 weeks (if their dam wasn't vaccinated a month before she kidded. If she was vaccinated, then do the first CD&T at four weeks old) and then give a booster 3-4 weeks after that. And then yearly after that.

I'd give a pneumonia vaccine to a kid or goat that is constantly having respiratory issues or constantly getting colds. I bought it for one of my goats, but she stopped having issues, so I never used it.

Is breathing a little raspy just after eating a bottle (or drinking water) a sign of respiratory issues? ONLY just a few seconds after eating. Or is this just overzealous eating, maybe a little in the nose?
