One of my 4 lb ND babies only took 1 to 2 oz several times a day the first 4 days so I would think she will be OK with 2. Good luck with them.:fl

Feed them much as they willingly take no more than 4 times a day. Once they are doing well three times a day is fine. Good luck and thank you for taking care of them. :hugs

warm food in their belly will make a tremendous difference. Anyone in the future reading this- feed them ! A warm bath is great as long as you can keep them warm after removing them from the bath.
Sorry, but this is not a good idea. The lambs/kids MUST be warm before you feed them. If they're too cold to stand and nurse, then they're too cold to properly digest the milk which can cause problems. Warm first, then feed! :) Now of course, if the lamb/kid is chilled but can still stand and nurse, then yes, feeding will help keep them warm.

I would put some towels in the dryer for about 15 mins and get some hot packs and place the hot paks in thick socks and place it against the kids' belly between their legs. Wrap the babies together in these warm towels so they will learn to huddle together & use each other's body heat. I would also give them a few droppers full each of strong coffee warm to the touch. This will stimulate them to get up and move around which will raise their metabolism. This has worked every time for me over the 13 yrs. I've been in the goat biz. Good luck!

i've been in the sheep biz for a long time but on these forums is the first i've ever heard of giving an animal coffee. Would you give it to sheep too? It makes sence, just never thought about it or heard about it.
