I have 3 pigs---1 boar and 2 sows. The sows are pregnant---due in the next couple weeks. I wormed all 3 with Wazine like I did last year, but a couple days later noticed really bad "dandruff" and flakes of dry mud or skin on the pigs. The boar seems the worst-----and he loves it if I scratch and scratch and scratch his back.
I started thinking they have mange mites. I bought a bottle of ivomec injectable planning on giving it orally, but since I just gave them the wazine should I wait 14 days and then treat with the ivomec? I hate to wait and let them suffer longer (plus the piglets may come before that and then they'll have to be treated). I already opened the box the ivomec came in, so I can't take it back and get pour on.
The other thought I had was to dust them with seven----but one sow is almost impossible to get close to.
Any thoughts?
