Thank you Rolls. I wanted to beat my buck Tack. You made me feel so much better. We are going to put him up for sale. After the holidays. It was the same heat. He is a sweet buck. But is he ever stubborn. UUUGGHHHH. He beats his poor brother up all the time. And when I don't give him his way does he ever yell at me. Never tries to hurt me just yells like he is being murdered.Roll farms said:It's possible that if 2 (or more) bucks breed a doe in the same heat cycle to have kids sired by both...but it has to be the same heat cycle.
I've read of the rare, obscure case where animals get bred again later and carry double pregnancies w/ different gestational ages, but again, that's very, very rare.
Our Togg buck refused to stay in a pen during breeding season. I had to keep him tied to something (I hated doing it, but I had to) until I could find someone to buy him. He broke out of every pen we reinforced for him. After his 4th escape I knew he HAD to go.
