One of my first year girls had 4 and another had triplets, so you really don't know what you get and the doe that had four looked smaller than the girl that had 3.

So then are the first years able to take care of all of them? Or would it be better to pull some?

yes they were but the doe that had 4 one of the babies died he was just a weak kid. I tried feeding him but he had no sucking reflex, other than that everything was fine. They give me a more milk than the other does.
