Hey guys! I was looking into getting a couple Nigerian Dwarfs for pets and milk, and I seen the Nubians and loved them but were much too big for me and the space I have, and then came across the mini-nubi's It seems like from what I've read they have a similar quality of milk to that of the nigerian dwarf (probably because they are a combination of nubi's and ND's) what do you think about their personalities? and any other info you feel like sharing thanks so much! :weee :thumbsup

I do not have one yet. I do have a ND buck and a Nubian doe which I plan to breed when Fiona's season kicks in.
Will have to get a ladder for the buck though. :lol:

I plan to keep a doeling from the pairing. Great way to get combination of good qualities from both. :) Abel is from a strong dairy pedigree and was 1 of triplets. I do not know Fiona's background and she is not registered but she is super sweet.

I like Nigerians, and I like Nubians.

If you cross the two, I bet I would like those as well. :)

I have to believe that I would absolutely fall head over heels for them with that roman nose and large droopy ears. :woot
Now for the $$ to get started and to find the perfect doe in milk with a doeling :fl :fl :fl
Thanks! ::bow

I have a mini Nubian doe who is due the end of May. She is a bit larger and bullies the heck out of my NDs. But given that she should give me 1/2-1 gallon of milk a day vs. the pint I was getting from my ND. I'm thinking I may want to switch my whole herd to the minis. I just got another doeling this weekend and have a buckling reserved who is due the end of next month. I love their smaller stature and droopy ears and they are total sweethearts to me! :love :love
