What is this?

Does anyone know what this thing with the black spots is in the attached picture? The same thing was on both sides of the rabbit.

I am not sure. I went through my rabbit disease book and found no mention of black spots in there.

Did the rabbit seem sick or act unusual in the week before their expiration?

What does the abnormality feel like? Filled with pus? Hard?

And what section of the rabbit's body is this?

That is the kidney next to it. I didn't feel it, so I'm not sure of the texture.
