It is able to feed, and other then it's small size, it is just like the others. I am going to do all i can to help it. I hold the doe down once a day outside of the cage and allow the kit to nurse. Is that good?

If this is a dwarf breed, I'd suspect it's a peanut.

It is not doing well. I found it today all shriveled up. I held the doe and let it nurse, but I suspect it is going to die. All the other kits are large and full, but this one has not grown.

i would just see what happens, i wouldnt even try holding the doe down, as itll just be more stressfull to her...
just let momma do whats shes going to do and nature will take its course...
if its not meant to survive, it simply wont...

if however its suffering i am ALL for humane culling.

its sad but true.

Peanut ... I'm sorry for what you are going through, but the baby will not make it in all probability. With small breeds this happens. We have had them in our ML & HL over the years... JW too. My best wishes to you and the rest of the litter.

Well, I went out to check on it...it was gone. It is probably dead at the bottom of the box, but I cant find it, and i dont want to look. I plan on just dumping everything out on day 8 and putting new stuff in. All the other bunnies are doing great, though.

Sorry for your loss. Glad he didn't suffer for long.
