What, no POW (Picture of the Week)?

What's the deal? Are the forum owners here a bunch of slackers!?!?!

Why isn't there a POW setup here? I mean, we've got all these really amazing member that have super wonderful animals and TONS of super cute pictures... what's the dealio (did I spell that correctly?)?

So, any thoughts on a POW here? We'd need at least a pair of very active peeps to manage it. Qualificaitons:

1) A really good discerning eye for good pictures and the ability to reject the fuzzy pictures (like blurry... not fuzzy animals).

2) An equal opportunity POW Picker. You can have a bias toward your favorite animals represented on BYH... but it just can't be shown in your choices of the POW. (there's this admin on BYC that if she had her choice, all the POWs would be of ducks... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!)

3) At least basic image cropping and resizing skills

I actually sent Nifty a PM, telling him that i would help out. Love POW. He responded and said that he responded this morning saying that he needed to work out some details and would have something ready ASAP.

Starting looking for those truly awesoe Pocs of the Week.

Ok, I've got the POW system all setup and we've got two members that will work together to choose and post the POWs: elevan and ThreeBoysChicks!





Remember, POW submissions must be relevant to the site topics, clear and clean, and shouldn't have people in them.
