oh, no stigma from me, I think it's great if done responsibly.
But my other buck is his father and one of my does is his mom...I only have 5 goats right now (well, 7 but 2 are babies and will be going to new homes).
So the next year I'd still probably want to change blood up anyway...just too many related for my liking in such a small herd.
It's just so hard to find quality goats here that arent outrageously priced, so my herd hasn't grown much.
Our friend is looking for a stud, his girls have all been tested so we may swap for a season since he also has a buck.
