I do wish you luck and to keep you going until you get your own fix on Wednesdaysouthernstardowns said:I am glad to see everyone highly recommending large blacks because my husband is going to pick up a few for our farm on Wednesday. I am also glad to hear that they are really docile. Of course we read up on them and researched them but it is always better to hear it from those who have first hand experience. Wish us luck!
Enjoy! Pretty sure you will have no regrets. If you are picking up piglets then they will probably be very scared & skittish for the first few days but once they get used to you they will tame down very quickly & it shouldn't be too long before they are "asking" for belly rubsI am glad to see everyone highly recommending large blacks because my husband is going to pick up a few for our farm on Wednesday.
