My buck has bald patches on his back. The photos are a week apart. He's had around of Ivermecten, Permethrin, and a Copper bolus in April.

My 2 does had a bald patch issue earlier this summer, 1x daily Zinc drops (like for humans) helped their coats tremendously! It was apple juice flavored so they loved it and had no problems giving it straight from the syringe

How long did it take for the hair to grow back? I have been giving him zinc for a week now.

New hair growth will start in 1-3 weeks, but it might take a month or 3 months to see any real improvement... depends on how deficient they actually are on zinc... their whole body will absorb it and utilize it before it specifically goes to hair growth... one week of supplement is like 1 minute of the clock..... and if zinc is the problem, adding it will also cause other changes in the body and absorption rates of their normal minerals.
