just my humble observations, some times a wether will try to mount a doe in heat, sometimes not. sometimes a wether will try to mount a doe as a dominance thing so you really can't count on them to tell the truth. and a wether that trise to dominate can be a royal pain and can also be dangerous. you're better off without them. some times another doe will try to mount a doe in heat, sometimes she too will try the dominance thing too. sometimes a buck rag works on a doe, sometimes not. it all depends on the doe. can you tell that at times they can be pia. since you don't want to keep a buck at your house for just 3 does, and I totally get that, sometimes they are not pleasant to have around, regardless of what @Southbychoice says  we love her and know that she does love her bucks. have you thought about leasing a buck from someone who's herd you like? some people will lease, some won't. you would have to make sure the herd is tested and i'm sure have your does tested but it is an option. hope something works out for you and your girls.
