it's over, the last of the sick ones needed to be put down this afternoon. It had been improving a bit till this morning :( The exposed wood that got them sick has been covered & the hard lesson learned. On the upside my NZ doe is going to give birth any day now :)
Hope you have a big healthy litter out of this one.

Crossing my fingers there's a big litter, new doe. She's gorgeous but also new so all i can do is hope. lol

I have only bred 2 new does since starting raising rabbits. The first kindled a first litter of 4, all survived. The second a first litter of 11, one died at birth with 10 surviving to 5 weeks so far. All looking good.

Good luck! We just had 2 does kindle- 1st litter all 7 were dead(this was the does 2nd litter) and on the 2nd litter-not sure yet as doe won't let us near the nest box but we can see the fur covering move (this is her 3rd litter).
