Gosh I wish I could post vids, Aspens training is coming along beautifully! The focus on my dog is INCREDIBLE, she doesn’t respond to come but instead respond to a certain whistle instead of the word “come”. She also knows “Sit” and keeps her eyes on mine constantly, razor sharp focus on a puppy is an amazing thing to see. You can’t see in this picture very well because of the lighting, but she has her eyes locked on mine instead of the treat in my hand, ears open listening to my command to SIT.

Oh yeah - I can definitely see that attention locked on you. You are going to have SO much fun with her. At this age pups are a learning sponge. So many things you can do. I'll see if I can dig up some of my old youtube links

I had an Aussie that was so smart that I had to spell words. Then she learned what the spelled words were! I taught her to count up to 5, by holding up fingers . However many fingers and she barked that number of times. A policeman friend helped me teach her how to search a car for drugs. I just wanted to see if she would. After that, she would alert on cars and “tell” me.
